The internet is a powerful and wonderful tool but information is varied in quality and content. The information page has yet to be completed but does have information on COVID and a new page on nicotinamide and glaucoma. It could be taking the vitamin supplement is helpful in preventing progression.
The glaucomas are the second most common cause of preventable blindness in the world. Our group have investigated public health initiatives, economic modeling, care provision pathways, co-management and improved surgical interventions.
Publications
My research group has undertaken public health initiatives in UK and Africa tailored for specific communities. We are working with the West African College of Surgeons to develop sub-specialist training throughout West Africa and training local trainers to deliver that.
